To prevent the spread of the novel Coronavirus, services are primarily being scheduled via Video Teletherapy, including all First Appointments. As of September 2020, a very limited number of In Person appointments are being offered, as allowed by the Governor's most recent Executive Order. Once your inquiry is received, Amanda will reach out to set-up an initial Phone Consult to learn more about your specific therapeutic needs, a little about your history, and invite you to ask her any questions upfront. Please expect up to 5 business days for a response.

Therefore, she has partnered with the Denver-based company, SonderMind, to offer her services In-Network with various insurance plans. Currently, she is able to accept the following carriers:

For individuals who do not wish to use their insurance benefits or have a carrier outside current credentialing, she can offer a private pay rate.

When it comes to the therapeutic process, the old saying stands: You get what you give.
Building trust and safety with a new therapist takes time and energy. Research also shows that therapy is most productive and effective when clients attend on a consistent basis. New clients of Living Story Therapy, PLLC are strongly encouraged and expected to schedule one session per week for at least the first two months of care. While Amanda emphasizes collaboration and respects client autonomy, she also recognizes her role is to support you in achieving your wellness goals as efficiently as possible. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this recommendation of initial weekly scheduling, please include them in your initial service inquiry.
